How is Master Your Project Genius 5.0 take place?
It will take place online within 4 weeks. Each week there will be one half-day interactive training session. As an added bonus, the programme includes one 60-minute online Q&A session.
Is it possible to learn something online and how do the training sessions look like?
Online is more effective than face-to-face. The main reason for this is the gradual learning from each other („Social learning"). In online, you can much better implement a model where development programmes are not run as full-day one-off events, but as multiple shorter sessions. In between, you then practice a specific assignment and technique you have learned. And you can get immediate feedback on the next lesson.
Is the programme accredited and will I get a certificate?
Yes, the programme is internationally accredited by IPMA CZ. You will receive a certificate confirming a total of 16 hours. You will receive the certificate if you attend at least 75% of the direct instruction (3 out of 4 training blocks). So you can watch one lesson, or part of it, from the recording.
Isn't it only for experienced managers?
The programme is suitable for aspiring project managers, project managers of smaller teams and senior project managers. You will use the information from the programme whether you manage a team of people or not. You will use the knowledge you gain in each of your roles. Even in your personal life.
Is the programme for me, since I've already completed the Project Thinking programme?
Yes, it is a suitable deepening. Some practices will be the same, but more than 80% of all knowledge will be new. Moreover, you can further deepen the ones you have already practiced.
What if I can't attend all the online lessons?
Never mind. All lessons will be recorded and available to you. If you are unable to attend a lesson, you can watch it at a time that is convenient for you. Additionally, all recordings will be available to you for 6 months from the start of the programme on Teachable.com.
Is the programme for me if I don't have project management experience?
Experience is not necessary. All you need is a basic ability to use a computer and smartphone.
I'm afraid I'll have to buy more expensive equipment and software. Is that right?
It's not. To successfully complete Master Your Project Genius 5.0, all you need is a computer connected to the internet, sound and a camera. All other software applications that we will use are either free or you can use them in trial versions for the duration of the programme again for free.
What software tools do you train in the programme?
We will be training and demonstrating a range of specific digital tools, using AI and automation in the Microsoft and Google ecosystems. Tools will be trained from a project manager position in several areas:
1) The area of collaboration in digital environments: MS Teams, Zoom, Mural/Miro, Jamboard, Loom and others.
2) Project coordination area: Freelo, MindManager, Typeform and others.
3) AI area: OpenGPT, Perplexity.ai, Firefly.ai and others.
How often do you update SW tools through dynamic development?
We are constantly adjusting specific tools to take account of rapid current developments. In addition, the programme includes access to the ShineStarlight portal, where a team of AI project assistants are available who are specially trained on the SHINE knowledge base.
Is this for me, as I am already a fairly experienced project manager?
I'm sure it is! Many of the satisfied participants were people who normally manage projects. But they had not had the opportunity to go through comprehensive hands-on training in recent years. But many practices are very different now than they were before the pandemic.
Can I do it if I'm a beginner?
The projects involve absolutely everyone, whether it's organising a house renovation, moving house, organising a wedding etc. Projects are simply all around us, even if we sometimes don't call them that. By practising simple and practical procedures, we give you the confidence to grasp the project you are entrusted with in the right way.
Will I have time for this when I have many other tasks during the day?
You will. Master Your Project Genius 5.0 will only take you one morning per week for interactive training and a total of 1x60 minutes of Q&A sessions. Then 2-3 hours at any time of the week for independent work. The time you dedicate to the programme will be saved right away during the following month.
Won't that be too hard?
We will guide you step by step. You'll get video support and feedback from the lecturer. In addition, you will be supported by other participants. We will use only simple software tools. You will also choose the amount of things you decide to use.
Is it possible to get access to the ShineStarlight portal for yourself or the whole project team in the long term?
Yes, it is possible to access our innovative portal on a long-term basis. For teams, an interesting quantity discount is available.
Is it possible to implement the programme on a custom basis?
Yes, it is possible to implement this programme on a custom basis. In this case, it is possible to tailor the content and timing to your team's needs.
